Roll it, don't hit it. The key to distance control when putting is to roll the ball by opening your stance slightly. When you make your stroke, keep your left hand moving towards the target and allow the putterhead to ascend slightly, forcing the ball to start rolling. A rolling ball will stay on line and will not bounce, maintaining the intended speed.
Practice Makes Progress. The majority of your strokes are taken inside 100 yards. Spend more practice time on chipping and putting, and you'll see strokes comes off your score!
Leave your EGO in the bag! The tendency is to grab the driver and make an aggressive swing. In reality, a controlled swing with a normal rhythm will produce better contact and increase your chances for a good shot.
A consistent golf swing starts with the proper set-up. Correctly addressing the ball is key. A simple pre-shot checklist can help. Just remember PGA.
